Lesson plans are developed weekly by the Head Teacher in each classroom. Generally, these lesson plans focus on a specific weekly theme and cover the areas of art/creative expression, fine motor, gross motor, music/movement, language/literacy, math, science, and writing. These lessons are developed to meet the individual and overall developmental needs of the children in the classroom. The goal is to help every child develop to his/her full potential and enter kindergarten with the skills to be successful. Teachers assist individual skills such as: tying shoes, number and letter recognition, phone number, address, and writing names and simple sentences.

Daily Reports

Daily reports will be sent home every day. They let parents know how their child ate at each meal, slept during nap, and activities during the day. In addition, there is a reminder section for when your child needs extra clothing or something needs signed (i.e. permission slip to take an enrichment trip). The daily report will be placed on the child’s attendance sheet in the sign in and out book for pick up at the end of the day.
